Our History
Founded almost a half a century ago, McCarney Greenwood LLP is a full service firm of Chartered Accountants with offices in Toronto and Brampton. One of the cornerstones of our success has been the commitment to the men and women that make up our team of professionals. Many of our partners have been with the firm in excess of twenty-five years.

Our Tax group works closely with our clients and their staff to add value for business owners and their families. We help our clients to define issues and objectives, identify opportunities, and develop tax efficient and effective business plans to achieve their goals.
We are listed on the website for the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a Certifying Acceptance Agent, with respect to assisting Canadian clients applying for U.S. tax identification numbers (ITINs and EINs).

McCarney Greenwood LLP is registered with the Public Company Oversight Board (PCAOB) in the United States. Thus we are qualified to provide auditing services to public companies that are listed on a U.S. stock exchange.
In addition, the firm is a member in good standing with the newly created Canadian Public Accountability Board (CPAB). Security Commissions in Canada will only accept auditors' reports on reporting issuers' financial statements prepared by firms that are participants in good standing under the Board's oversight program.
